Statement from BSB on Dan following Cadwell crash
The following is a statement released by BSB on Sunday eveningβ¦
UPDATE: Earlier today during the first Bennetts BSB race at Cadwell Park circuit Lee Jackson crashed at the Mountain section on the second lap, unavoidably Takumi Takahashi and Dan Jones also crashed necessitating an immediate red flag.
Jackson and Takahashi were both unhurt but Dan Jones sustained injuries including initially being unconscious. He was stabilised first trackside and then at the circuit medical centre before he was flown to Hull Royal Infirmary for scans and further investigations.
Fortunately, these showed that there was no head or other injury requiring operation, only a fractured collarbone and concussion. He is being kept in hospital for further observation.
