Dan’s Blog – Getting fit in body and mind ahead of the season
“The preparations for the season are going well, I am training hard in and out of the gym. There’s not long left now, so the final push is here. I’m working with Fit Mode by Marta Lentner, she gives me a program to follow which helps me massively. We also work on my diet which changes depending on the calories I burn in a day, the goal is to put weight on so we need to be above the calorie outtake.
Along with Fit Mode I work with Craig Muirhead, who is a mind coach. This means I can train the brain along with the body. We work on focusing for a long period of time, which is important for the longer races this season.
I can’t wait to get underway, the first test is just around the corner.
