Blog update – Ready to race!

Hi there everyone,

Since my last update I have been busy getting ready for the 2020 restart. I have only had the one test, so here’s how that went:

The first session back was very rusty, I hadn’t ridden since the start of March. I was struggling to keep up with what was going on for the first one.

After taking it all in, the second session was a lot better, I started to find my feet. I improved by about a second which was good.

The third session of the day was more about trying some things. It’s important to try changes as that is what testing is for. I was pleased with the work myself and the team had done.

For the last outing of the day we put some new tires in and put some good laps in. I ended the day 7th in the GP2 class, only 0.9 off the top spot.

I’m very happy with how my first outing in the UK on the GP2 went. I’d like to thank the team for the hard work and my sponsors for continuing to support me.
