Dan’s Blog – Bring on the 2019 season

 In News

Hello everyone,

First of all apologies for the lack of updates, the start of the 2019 season has been a chaotic one. But here is the latest update on how things are going as the races approach…

For the 2019 season I am pleased to announce I have joined partnerships with City Lifting, I will be racing under the City Lifting/ RS Racing team, who has won the past two British Moto3 Championships. With my experience of riding a KTM in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and the Junior World Championships, I feel confident I will be able to challenge for the title.

After becoming the inaugural British Standard Moto3 Champion in 2016, I am very excited to be returning to the British Superbikes series. With incredible tracks and crowds, the 2019 season is going to be a fun one. There will be plenty of challenges ahead but I am giving it my all to ensure I am well prepared.

For the New Year, my family and I travelled to Circuit de la Ribera, where I had my first taste of what it was like to ride a 600. I had such great fun, I felt I adapted to the bike very quickly and I was pleased with my speed.

After one week in Spain, I returned home to Wales. I am continuing to study in school, as there is never a guarantee in life, but my preparations for the season are well under way and I’m feeling strong.

I’d just like to thank my personal sponsors, Shark Helmets, Vroom Media, Rack Storage UK, Bike Industries, TCX Boots and Furygan for their support.

And of course you!

Cheers
Dan
